LOADS of Easter fun!

I don't know about anyone else....... but this year seems to be FLYING by!!!  Seems like I was just making Christmas cards and now an Easter card???  Well, at least the weather outside is perfect Spring weather to celebrate.  Hopefully you'll have LOADS of Easter fun, I know I will.

Speaking of LOADS of fun, I had a great time making this card for the

Wishing you LOADS of Easter fun!

Cartridges: Boys will be Boys, Doodlecharms

Imagine Cartridges:
Enjoy the Seasons, Hopscotch

I used Cricut Craftroom to layout the design and fill-in the patterns for the eggs (that's my kind of no mess Easter egg decorating!)

Embossing folder: Cuttlebug Swissdots

Stickles: Yellow, Fruit Punch, Turquoise, Diamond, Orange

Cardstock: various from my scrap piles -
I'm trying to use up my enormous stash of scraps

Misc: corner rounder, foam tape

What are you making for Easter?  Come join in on the Easter fun and link up your project with the Cooking with Cricut Easter theme challenge.  I'd love to see what you are creating!

Make me laugh....
Our creation was to be inspired by a funny quote, poem, pun or saying.

Have you ever had a nagging feeling that you forgot something???   The calendar doesn't pop-up with any reminders but you are almost certain that "today" is more than just a "Wednesday"?  A day when no one around you knows (or remembers) what you are talking about when you say "what is today?"  Well that recently happened to me and a couple of days later, I FINALLY figured it out!  I missed a birthday!

Cartridge: Life's A Party
Using the card feature, cut at 5".

I used the layer feature to create the inside circle.
The font is Adventure.

And continuing on the pun journey....here's another card.

At work we collected items to send some "comforts from home" to soldiers currently serving overseas.  We gathered (and bought with donations) enough goodies to fill 5 large postal flat rate boxes (USPS offers a discounted rate if the parcels are going to APO and/or FPO addresses!).

Cartridge: Boys Will Be Boys
The tank was cut at 3.5" using all of the layers.

It's a little hard to tell, but I used the Black Glaze pen to make the
inside of the gears glossy black.
The font is Adventure.
The corners were "chomped" with the lime green handled
corner chompers using "Deco".

Come on over to Cooking with Cricut and link up your creation using a funny quote, poem, pun or saying.   Can't wait to see what you create!
